In 2010, Pastor Vicky began her first pastoral appointment in Lower Bucks County. She quickly became a valued member of the entire community serving as the director of the Lester Bahrt Food Pantry, Executive Director of the LYFT Community Prevention Coalition, Director of the Awareness Teen Advisory Group aka ATAG, pastor of First UMC, and actively engaged in the Character Education efforts of the Pennsbury School District. During her time in this community time she received multiple accolades through various awards of recognition.  from United Way, Pennsbury Partners, and an resolution expressing great appreciation for her work from the Pennsbury School District. She worked in collaboration with many community leaders and organizations, too numerous to list. Pastor Vicky loves God and is committed to spreading God’s love. She trusts God and often quotes Romans 8:28 saying, “All things work together for the good of those who love the Lord and are called according to His purpose.”  Raised in a Christian home in Philadelphia, Pastor Vicky’s home church was the former Trinity Chelten United Methodist Church where she gained much recognition for her ministry to youth and young adults in and out of the church. In addition to her one daughter, Pastor Vicky took in and cared for many other children through foster care, court appointed custody, parental right relinquishment and other arrangements. She is the proud grandmother of four: Taya (22), Xavier (19), Devon (15), and Ryan (5).

Pastor Vicky loves to laugh and have fun! She likes fun competition, enjoys music, movies, plays and spending time with good friends! She likes to joke around and engage in playfulness!

As her time of ministry begins at Montgomery Square and Chalfont, she is excited to see how God will bless!.

Reverend Dr. Max Jaouen

Rev. Dr. Max Jaouen was born in Gourin, France. His full name is Maxime Rene’ Jaouen, but goes by Pastor Max. He was raised in New Jersey, attended 12 years of Catholic School and graduated Notre Dame H.S. in 1967. He attended Newark College of Engineering (now N.J.I.T.) in 1967/1968. From 1968 to 1974 he served in the military and did tours in Vietnam. He married Sally on June 26, 1976. He graduated from Valley Forge Christian College (now University of Valley Forge) in 1979 and from Eastern Baptist Seminary (now Palmer Seminary) with a Master’s of Divinity in 1985. He also received his Doctorate of Ministry in Marriage and Family from Eastern Baptist Seminary (now Palmer Seminary) in May of 1994. He has been in the pastorate for than 36 years and has served six churches in the Eastern Pennsylvania Conference. Pastor Max is retiring from full time ministry in June of 2017. He was given as clergy the Harry Denman Evangelism Award from the EPAUMC in 2015.

Pastor Max has traveled to numerous countries in Asia, Africa, Europe, and the Middle East. He has led six trips to the Holy Lands (Israel, the Palestinian Authority, Jordan, and Egypt). Pastor Max likes to preach, teach, counsel, and tell stories and jokes. He also likes to travel, lead camps and retreat, and play softball (has been known to pitch a softball well (6′ to 12′). Pastor Max relates well to children, youth, and young adults, and older adults. His wife, Sally, graduated from Valley Forge Christian College (now University of Valley Forge) in 1979 and has a Master of Education from La Salle University, She is a retired 9th grade special education English teacher at Neshaminy H.S. in Langhorne. She also graduated from the Lansdale Conservatory of Music. He has two daughters. Christina, born September 14, 1985, married Marcus Schneider in July 2015, graduated from Temple in May of 2016, and provided Pastor Max and Sally with grandchildren, Eloise Renee on September 2, 2016 and Orion Anton on December 21, 2018. Stephanie, born August 12, 1988, married  Justin Parks in October 2017, attended the Art Institute of Philadelphia. She is a photographer and works as a transcriber.
